Washed, dried and polished my bikes today.  Bandit is still dirty though, I like to have clean bikes and I mean really clean as in I wash inside the mudguards with a rag and turps clean.  Will take a couple of cleans to get the Bandit really clean as I use a toothbrush to get into all the corners.  That way if something goes wrong, I can spot a leak or whatever immediately.

I like to clean mine with a toothbrush also. Doesn't really take that long and always comes out great.

Took Suzi to Mt Rainer with 40 other bikes of all types and sizes. Suzi is in the picture. Can you spot her and the other GS500?
Fantastic day! 250 miles and never had to fill up. Will see my mileage when I fill up tomorrow. Same with other GS500. Seems they like the mountains.

I don't know if you are using photobucket to resize your photos, but they always seem to be somewhat degraded.  You don't need to resize to post them here.  You can resize on the fly and let people see the full quality as well.  See this thread -> http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=60218.msg693365#msg693365

Correct. It is a 2004 with the Airtec seat cowl and some kind of headlight. Been repainted.

I was waiting to see how long before someone would do this.  I used to have a Zeitronix installed in my turbo'd VW GTI which came in handy.  Curious to see what numbers you come up with.

I used to have a Zeit ZT-2 but didn't like it. When we custom tune our trucks with EFI, we need to see AFR v/s RPM not AFR v/s Time. But I have a Diablo Trinity that datalogs everything else on my truck.

I'm not expect to make power but I need to know exactly where my carbs are set at. We all know if we're not exactly where you need to be, you're either wasting fuel or power. Why take that chance by guessing jets and turns? I won't.

On a side note, I found a shop last night to chrome my Katana rims. CANT PHREAKING WAIT!

That back support thing. Is that on hinges or...? Cause it appears way to far forward to be of use for a pillion on the rear, and too far back to be of use for the rider - who would be leaning more forward on the GS anyway and get no benefit from it.
