A bit too much octane booster added to the fuel tank.  :icon_rolleyes:

What was the ratio... 20:1? Octane booster to fuel that is...

I'm going to attempt shimming my needles half a notch higher than their richest settings today, lean at 1/8 - 1/4 throttle which is causing the shitty hesitation in traffic which I've been trying to fix for months.

I can't get other needles for my carbs so it's dodgy it up or new carb time...  :technical:

Needle dodginess performed... should be an interesting commute this morning as I didn't get time for a test ride yesterday.

Found two small tears in each diaphragm yesterday too  :technical: :o >:(

Did I ever mention that I despise the government? Yeah, I did mention it... Lots of times.
May I rant?

They take advantage of the stupidity and shortcomings of the populace and spin it all to their obnoxious, self-serving advantage.
Meanwhile blacks & whites hate each other, poor & rich dont trust each other, we all get spied on, etc, etc...

And the government knowingly profits from all the bedlam they create.
And the kicker is that all of their evil doings is always stated as being done in the name of compassion. Oh really?
Heh, it's all B U L L - S H I T.
So many people in need of assistance in this land and the govt is busy feeding themselves like fat hogs at the trough.

When Judgment day comes, Al Capone and Chopper Read will be in better shape than most politicians.

Funny thing is the top end hasn't felt wrong... the issues are all at that 1/8 - 1/4 throttle openings... but now I know about it I'm wondering if the top end is missing something as well  :dunno_black:

I need to make a decision/purchase soon before they get worse!

Would love some VM33's for a nice juicy upgrade but they're not cheap... after market diaphragms should be around $US60 including shipping...

Decisions decisions... of course if I go the after market diaphragm route and mess it up I'm off the road... but if I don't do anything I will be off the road at some point anyway...  :cookoo: :icon_rolleyes: :technical:

Ah... The joys of buying a second set of carbs, putting them on the bike, then taking your original carbs and doing your own custom rebuild on em'.  :D
