what does it need to fit the flange onto the slipon?

Flange on to header is some nifty cuts with a dremel ... BTW your bike is 03 ... what is the header dia at the point it enters the can... You may have to weld on the flange ... if its not the 1 and 3/4 inch. I know 04's are 2 inch ... and weld on for them...
Cool.

Ok then I'll have to send you a weld on flange ...
I just made a set for someone with an 04 ... lemme know and I'll make it and send ... BTW its $20 for that not the $30 for a slip fit... less work ...
Cool.

ok so basically i just have to bolt the flange onto the slipon and then weld it onto my pipes right?

Bolt flange to exhaust can. Then put them in position on the pipes and tack it. Then take off the can and take pipe off the bike and weld it like there's no tommorow... then if you got some weld splatter on the cannister side of the flange grind it up and make it smooth and flat ... its over 1/4 inch thick...so grind it till its perfectly flat and smooth... you got plenty of material... then fit the exhuast can with gasket on. I have one titanium one left BTW... and of course the SS ones from dennis crook.
Cool.
