I saw an injury like that in person once in a football game.  My buddy Harris, who was a DB, was laying on his stomach after a play.  He was screaming and pulling clumps of grass out of the ground.  I didn't notice right away that the toes on his right foot were pointing to the sky, straight up.  Did I mention that he was laying on his stomach?

yeah you gotta sit back go really slow (almost dead stop) and rev it up and dump the clutch...hard on the gs but easy on the 6r

I did my first wheelie by accident a couple days ago, reved up really high to take off from a stop sign quickly, I was going to make it smooth but I got a striking pain in my clutchhand and dropped it. Front well came up like 2-3 feet, it was cool but scarey as shaZam!. I've tried doing them purposly the last couple of days in parking lots but I don't think I've got the man organs for it. The bike is pretty loud at 9k and when I'm barely gliding fast enough to stay upright, dropping the clutch is a scarey thought. I can get a good jerk from dropping the clutch but its probably only 5-6k when I do it, definately not enough to get up.

same for me. The guys i ride with who have the I4 (ninja,gsxr,cbr) always cant beleive that the gs can wheelie. I love seeing their faces. Its actually hilarious.

I donno man, I've been riding for two years now, an older bike, and have always wanted to try to wheelie. so I get my 93gs, put a brand new clutch in it and give myself about a week to get used to the bike. one night I decided I wanted to go try it and find myself in a huge parking lot. let me just say, there really f-ing hard. you gotta get over letting the clutch out smooth and get used to just poping it. and you have to get the throttle and cluch sicronized perfectly. I was getting mostly just little hops outa the front wheel. finnally I got the timeing just right and the front end shot skyward, (something around 11 o-clock) I was like 'oh fu<k' and rolled off the trottle real fast. BAD IDEA. the thing came crashing back to earth and I got it right in the nutts.  they don't call it a crotch rocket for nothing....
