Ja, you probably need that more than you usually do, with restricted arm movement and all...

I hear that if you switch hands it's like being with a stranger.

pantablo

the gear:

jacket scuffed. no tears or rips.

helmet scraped and has impact indentations of gravel (barely visible if at all) that indicate non sliding impact-see right middle of helmet below white scrapes.

pants didnt have any significant damage I could have picked up with the camera, and gloves/boots were untouched.

bike:
you can see how far the upper fairing stay is bent by how far apart the torn fiberglass upper is-the missing area of the upper is where the two peices mate together. also you can barely see the scrape on the fender, the grip is torn and barend missing as well as the side fairing scrapes and a chunk missing around the slider.

I think we have the same towels.   :thumb:

Looks like the frame sliders did their job; could have been a lot worse. Is your jacket still useable, or do you need to replace it now?

The impact damage on the helmet looks weird. I figured if you smacked your head against something as hard as the ground you would get more of an area of paint impacted off.

Like on the back of this:

Also, those slide marks on the helmet make me cringe the position your head would have to be in for that looks like serious risk for neck damage. Your neck alright?

jacket is still completely useable. I might be able to actually clean the scuff markes off.

the helmet has deep gouges you can see (white) where the paint and some of the material of the shell was removed from impact/sliding. I think it isnt worse because I immediately went off track into the dirt...

no neck injuries to speak of. not even whiplash.

Good thing he wasn't nekkid when he took that pic.

It looks like the helmet shell is split open in that photo - at the pointy rear part of the visor.  Optical illusion?

The stranger is where you sit on your hand until it goes numb.  That way it feels like somebody else is doing it.  I tryed that "stranger" move.  I think I did it backwards.  Ended up with a reverse stranger.  I sat on my chicken unit IT went numb.  Yeah.  Felt like I was giving somebody else a handjob.

Not my finest hour.

I did manage to finish, however.   Wink!
