I'd like to be added to the list too if I may.  I'm in Texas, so whichever kit is closest would be great.

So it went from pandy to sanjay...so who's next? I don't know where this list is, but I need to get on it. I'm at 3300 miles, so I'll be near 4000 by the time it gets here. So...am I on now, or what do I need to do?

Thanks all.

Dcummings1998@yahoo.com by the way.

Kit Status:

I think JunaryBunch has had the East Coast kit since early Oct.
I just received the West Coast kit from Pandy.

Waiting List:

Here's what I compiled from pg 27 through 31.  If something is wrong, please correct it.  Since there's more demand for the East Coast kit, I've put Texans on the West Coast one.  I also put down locations so neighbors can meet up to work together or exchange the kit.

That is very helpful, thanks so much for taking the time to do that. Do you have a time estimate from when the person before you receives it to when you see it? Of course it will vary on the person's mechanical aptitude, their location in relation to you, and so on. But how about just an estimate. So when you found out pandy had it, how long until you saw it? That would just be handy for planning purposes.

Thanks again. :thumb:

I think Pandy had it for about a month.  2 weeks of that was a shipping delay which had nothing to do with wrenching time.  With Kerry's video to help, I'd say 2 weeks is a good amount of time to get it done and pass it on.  Of course, who knows what my answer will be 2 weeks from now, hehe.

Wait a minute, 2 weeks? I will be off my motorcycle for 2 weeks? Thank god I'm getting that honda c70 together.

Seriously though, that's a long time. But I'm assuming that includes prep, shipping, and so on.

I would have only had it one weekend, but for circumstances. Sorry I had it so long. I sent it off as soon as I could.

Should only take an afternoon if you've never done it before and don't run into any big problems

Oh I agree about it only taking one afternoon.  I was including the time between when you get it and when you have a free afternoon and then the time between that afternoon and when you finally ship it off again.

I got the kit two days ago but I won't get to do it until Saturday.  The rest of the weekend I'll be out of town so I won't get to ship it out until sometime next week.

And if you need a shim from the dealership, that stretches things out.

Pandy, don't worry about the delay - your reasons are good ones.   :)

Great job! Shall we go ahead and call this this official list?  If so, I guess we need to find out who has the east coast kit sitting around and get that puppy circulating again.  Has anyone tried contacting JunaryBunch?

Sent Junary a PM a few days ago, but his profile says the last time he logged on was in November.

I love YOU goes to college.

Hey, I live in Atlanta.... SecondGen.... call me the day you get the kit so that we can work on our GS's at the same time!

Aerospike

Hey guys,

Not that anyone missed me or anything, but I moved for a new job in December and that's why I haven't been on in a long time.  Anyways, I still have the contact info you guys need.  My only concern is disclosing that info without that member's consent.  So is there a forum rule about that? Or should I just forward it?

Sorry for being such a pain.

So far there isn't a rule, I can delete it after it has been posted.  I am hoping that person hasn't moved.  Another option would be to pm the address to the next person who needs the kit so that they can contact Junary; Junary only needs the address of the person to send it to next.

I'd prefer for everyone's safety that no personal contact info of another member be posted without their consent.

PM the next person the address and/or other contact info so they can try to reach them. Other than that one of us admins would do it next but after that its MIA...at which point someone from the west coast that has that kit should copy it for us and get another copy circulating.
