So I just finished stripping my bike using the stock f headlight like you did cause it looks awesome.  Anyway a question for you, what did you do to tighten the turn signals so they dont spin in that bracket?  One of them stayed pointing forward but the other one caught the wind and pointed straight up.  I may just need to wiggle it around it is tight its just not making enough contact with the bracket I think.  Did you add a washer?  I have the stock turnsignals by the way.  Thanks again for the awesome idea, remember imitation is the highest form of flattery...

Heres the signal pointing up

I fixed it(not fixed just turned it back) in this picture I love the new look and I can hear the bike more, and the extra air flow feels great in Mobile, AL.

Yep, it's a great look for the gs. I'm in B'ham, so if you make it up this way (Barber Motorsports/whatever) give a holler.

Nice pics, I'm doing the same when I find a light + HID. Love the look !

Yep. I love that look! That may make it onto my '91 E when I rebuild this winter.  I just went to eBay looking for headlights from an F model, but don't see any today.  There are TONS of light assemblies from GSXRs of all flavors.  Anyone have any thoughts of how a GSXR assembly would look?  I'm noticing the 500F headlight is nice and narrow, tall, V-shaped and seems to fit with the twin gauge pods for a nice overall look. I'm starting to think a headlight off a GSXR would be too wide-looking, especially the newer ones.

Hey jchc413,
Did you cut the tabs off of the headlight or what?
Looks great.. I'm waiting for my universal bracket to come in and I will have the same set up :)

well I have aftermarket turn signals so its threaded all the way so you may need to splurge on that? I bought my bike for 500$ wrecked (its an 06)and so far I have made 40$ because of the old headlight I had that I bought with the handlebars and selling it. Looking good by the way. I am in Iraq right now but in begining of year when I return I am buying an aftermarket or gsxr front master cylinder because 1) it looks badass and 2) the sight glass in mine broke:(

Yeah it took me a minute to figure out how she connected the brackets to the tabs on the bike because they dont face the same way.  Just cut the tab that has the big plastic * looking thing(very technical I know) so you can attach it to the bracket.  If you have a dremel it would be very easy, if not a razor blade will work(thats what I used, im poor/cheap and no dremel)  Im not sure how she bent her brackets to fit but that was the biggest pain out of the whole deal it took me a while to get it right.  I lack tools so I set them on a 2x4 and banged on them with a rubber mallet that worked pretty well, they take a good amount of work to get them to fit youll figure it out Im sure.
