I just fitted some  clipons to my 08 F.   Fitted no worries with the fairings.
Came from Ebay / Rockwall Honda TX shipped over here to Aus. Just took them for a spin around the farm and they suit me great. They were listed as EX500 Ninja 94-up clipons 37mm

and have superbike bars currently because I was curious and wanted to try them.   Superbike feel kinda close to stock even though they are a bit better looking than stockers.

What exactly is the difference between stock bars and superbike bars? I hear people talking about superbike bars all the time and still haven't figured out what they are. Is that just the general name for the medium rise bars with a bit of backsweep that come of most of the sporty naked bikes?

Pretty much.  The ones I got were from either motorcycle superstore or chapparral.  They definitely had a lower design than the stockers do and felt a bit more forward for stance. Not too much pullback at all which kept me over the tank some more.
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

I'm looking at getting some renthal 7/8". Was wondering if anyone that has used them have an y wrist issues at all?

I put renthals on my last bike. No wrist problems, but I didn't keep them on too long either just because it was a pretty big change from the clipons. I think you'll be fine though, you just have to get used to bending your elbows more. Either way they look way meaner than the stock bars. I need to track down another pair so I can swap back and forth between the clipons to see which ones I really prefer.

I really do love the look of them. I hardly get the bike up over 120km and prefer back roads to highways riding. PLus they're pretty much unbreakable aren't they?
