Hey all, been a longtime fan of this site, really learnt a lot!

i Have a 2007 GS500F, and thanks to my Haynes manual, i have been maintaining the bike myself.

Recently i have been having carb trouble; where the gas is flowing right through and out the drain hose (the whole tank).
(i had this problem 3-4 years ago, and after taking the carburetor out and cleaning it, it didnt give me any more trouble).
i recently took it out and gave it a basic cleaning, but after putting it back in, it still have the same issue. After much trouble, i found some replacement kits (float bowl, needle, o-rings, etc) and i plan on replacing the old parts.

the trouble is i just recently moved, and my manual is still packed away under mountains of boxes. i was wondering if someone could send me (or link) a diagram for when i re-install the carburetor... there are a LOT of hoses :) - and i want to make sure i put them all back where they belong.

thank you in advance.

Lately my sentences concerning carbs always have the same two words: "stupid" and "carbs."  Probably from my impatience with fiddling with them for this long now, but when things are good, (stupid) carbs, aren't so bad.  When they don't work right, I feel carb (stupid carbs!! >:() rage coming on.  Maybe that's why I'm going to try and score a 929 fi this weekend.

I would say your floats or float needles are stuck or bad...

unless the hoses are in the wrong place for some reason.

like i said, my manual is packed away, i tried labeling each home, but theres always that possibility. just in case I'm planning on putting in a new needle, orings, etc
