I just picked up a 2008 with 4700 miles. I am orig from Maine but now reside in TN mountains. I have been lurking here for a couple days reading the threads. Very nice website... I hope the GS500 is reliable with little maintenance.

Hi everyone, my name is Eduardo (aka L@LO), I live in Mexico City, I'm 39 years old and this is my first post. I'm GS500F 2007 owner, and it's my first motorcycle. I bought it in April of the past year, and after some falls(very stupids,( noob after all)) I had to paint it. In past December I suffer a really fall in the street, and I have to painted again. I will show you pics from the date that I bought it to the present.

At this moment my upgrades and mods:

Trioval Yoshimura Stanley Steels for GS500
Rear Wheel Bandit 400
Rear tire Bridgestone Batlax 150/60
Yamaha R6R shock
Fenderectomy
Grips Driven Heaven in red colour

In my hands:
Dynojet stage 1 (at the end of this month I will mount it)

Incoming:
Upper Yoke GS500 93' with clip ons

And I have in mind more upgrades:

KOSO RX-2 GP STYLE SPEEDOMETER GAUGE
K&N Filter or K&N lunch box
RACE TECH FORK SPRING 0.85 KG/MM
Gimbel footrest
Solo seat (I love the aluizio style, but is so expensive and hard to obtain)
.........The sky is the limit.

Well..... I will put more photos when add more upgrades or mods.

Thank you.

You want the 89-2002 model fairing. It is a simple bolt on. Designed to bolt on a naked frame.
You can see my posting on the TCP fairings. Probably over there you can find used ones or pieces and put one together.
Note the compatibility in my write up on the two styles of TCP fairings. FiveStars is the same as TCP type #2.
Shipping to Pakistan might be a problem.

I'm Lori, living in Parkersburg WV.  Just got my GS500F about 3 weeks ago and put 300 miles on it the first warm weekend we had.  Love it and the way it rides, am looking into some windscreen changes, but otherwise no complaints and love the way it handles.
