I'm in the market to purchase a set of '89 clip ons. If anyone happens to have a set for sale i would appreciate a PM. I understand that these are hard to come by, and I haven't seen any pop up recently... So I'm hoping that someone out there has a set that they are willing to part with. Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure you just missed a nice set by a day or so. I see them on fleabay fairly often, though.

I got a set, but on an 01 you're gonna need banana bars, which I cant make for a while. Moving ...

I have a spare set. Top clamp, bars, new black grips and matching end weights.

Been holding them thinking Iwas ggoing to use them but I guess not.

You can shim them or machine them to prevent tank slap.
(I prefer not to bend the bars to prevent tank slap.)

Excellent write up too. I've got them on my 07 shimmed and work just fine. Much cleaner looking than the new bars IMO
