A courier company lost it ... They have an employee who might have been connected with 2 handgun go missing years ago .... Aka Remington gpc .. 'Normally sent via Aussie Post when officers relocate or as a replacement' ... Questioning that!! ...

It is more or less an ar15 .. With the auto function and lever removed and disabled ... Typical redesignation of nomenclature when they do this.. Not hard to convert back again though if you have the bits and know how ..

QLD cops replacing the old mini14 units with these ... 1 was sent from Nioa trading via a courier company.... Supposedly as a test unit? ....

If they really do send stuff by Aussie post... And I'm skeptical ... Why change this time to a courier? ... But ... It just all looks factual enough in the vagueness of reporting for the general public to accept... And handy to draw attention to the fact that 'big bad weapons of any type' might be in the postal service ... So that "Soccer Mum Sandy and Metrosexual Mike can raise a ruckus a little later about 'what if the mailman on a bike' was delivering a hand cannon!!!!!!! ... My kids could get shot?!?!?" .......

No doubt them two will nit pick and Buddha Loves You but hey you look at it and fact is the police lost an ar15 in the mail. It is legal to send through the post as I'm sure you would know janx. Long as its registered and no markings to give it away that such package contains a gun.

If it was sent Aussie Post it would be Registered Post and be tracked right up the the door of the receiver and would be found.
