Well actually, I just made that up to be funny.
I'm told that the non-FI bikes such as mine have a rather anemic stator system and could possibly burst into flame and burn to the ground if I installed heated grips.

only the exhaust bearings? ..... i think it might be leaking on-fire oil out other places too??

I don't see it hurting the dilithium crystal or blocking the erbs from increasing the gigawatts to 1.21 in the flux capacity. But exhaust bearings, yeah, def look there. And also be sure to check the nut that attaches the seat to the handlebar
