If I was rich, I'd still keep the GS. But I'd buy the shaZam! out of a new Indian Scout, and I'd get an old BMW F650 Funduro to flog around the dirt.

peteGS

I'd just have Katanas... lots and lots of Katanas... while keeping the 450 of course!

Might throw a Triumph Scrambler into the mix there too...

Ah yes... The good ole motorcycle wish-list.
Put me down for a new FJ-09.

And what's as warm & cozy as my DL1000 but would NOT be over 600 pounds (272 Kilo) road ready?  :dunno_black:
. . . Whatever it is, I want one!
Well... soon as one of us commoners strike it rich.

Nice malf! I tried that as a wee laddie but it didn't work, probably because I had no idea what I was doing
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

.. random thought. .  EJ.   Your money pic above....

Why yes that's exactly how our money comes too! .. the roll shape is a bit tricky at first but it's ok if you carry some tubing on the car/Ute. .  This bloke is one of our millionaires!

Rolled money... Wood jewelry... and carburetor madness. Perfect material for this thread!

My accomplishment for the week: Install new alternator, speed sensor, o2 sensor, & countershaft sensor on my 96 Honda Civic LX.
Check engine light is out, all codes reset, she runs great again!
However... Now I'm fuken broke and it looks like the radiator is gonna blow soon as the hot weather arrives.

I like the first comment on your process Malf... regarding shoes... I was going to say I like your safety shoes  :flipoff: :icon_mrgreen:

I have found two options for velocity stacks too... one local and a bit on the pricey side ($29.10 each plus $44 each for filters) and one in the US not so pricey ($US17 each with mesh screens).

The local ones look like a better product quality wise though and I could potentially just throw some sock filters over them if I could find some that fit!

I wish there were some stacks locally I could physically look at, too damn hard via email and Internet photos... but I think the local ones are looking better and better... unless the price jacks up with all the options  :technical:

And managed another very wet ride yesterday... what is it about organised rides in March? Nice weekends either side but pouring down the one weekend we're out and about...
