So lucky the GS has such a dedicated following, not enough time in the day to read about everyone's projects!

Hey there. Been lurking for awhile. I'm a 19 year old male who is currently in community college. I live in the East Bay area of California. I've had a 2002 Gs500 since December and have been enjoying every bit of it so far. The previous owner installed an aftermarket exhaust system, rejetted the carbs, and added the lunch box filter. So far I've completely rebuilt the forks with new seals and progressive springs. I replaced the rear shock with an old Katana shock. Handles a lot better now. I've added clubman bars with "junkyard risers", and bar end mirrors. I just did my first oil change today and it was actually pretty easy. Switched the throttle tube with an R6 tube. Replaced the cylinder head gasket because it was leaky.  I do have a background in cycling so handling down twisty roads hasn't been difficult to pick up. Plenty of twistes around here.

Hey, my name is Kenton. I'm 29 years old, attending college for Physical Therapy. Long story short, I was hit on my first Suk 4 years ago and hadn't picked up a bike since this winter. Saw one on CL and picked it up super cheat and ripped it apart. Love this Suk to death and will continue to modify it until I die. Any how, I live in Hamilton, NJ with my wife and obscene amount of animals and am always looking to a place to ride. Shoot me a PM if you're within 2 hours of me and want to meet halfway.

Yup it's naked. Going to try to get rid of as much plastic as I can. Would like to clean up the rear end and get rid of the tail fairings because they're ugly and bulky in my opinion.
