Went riding on Saturday morning  :thumb:

Then did most of the compressor room on Sunday... unfortunately this photo highlights the slight lean of the shed and also the one wonky bit where we ran over the formwork for the concrete and lifted one corner up... hence the shim under bottom piece of pine. Basically it's essential to have the doorway as close to a perfectly squared rectangle as possible.

The door will lift vertically and double as a work bench.

I'll run some left over bits of MDF/melamine and quad up the sides and across the bottom to make it look a bit neater and I hope to get a strip of foam rubber for the compressor to sit on to stop it vibrating directly on the concrete. Also need to cut a breather hole up towards to the top.

Motorcycles with rectangular headlights. You dont see much of that anymore. Very unique.  :thumb:

Oh I see them all the time!  :D

Just bought a 9 metre retractable air hose off eBay for the shed, be a bit easier to manage in the limited space than the 20 metre non-retractable I have. Make it a lot easier to keep things tidy.

Oh look another DDP FTW!... meh... ha!

Bought a 9 metre retractable air hose off eBay for the shed, supposed to be here by the weekend.

Will be nice not to have to uncoil and fiddle around with 20 metres of hose in such a restricted space...

Big, boxy 80's vintage tail-lights are a good thing.

BTW; The news here in New York (temperature currently -10C and windy) is that in eastern Australia it's 107 degrees Fahrenheit!

Damn that's hot!  >:(

It's bloody hot alright! Rode home yesterday avo', cracked a beer and jumped in the pool... perfect!

Got my retractable hose for the shed and set it up in there last night, no pic's yet though. Will save those for when the compressor room door is done and the trim is tidied up so it looks like it's supposed to.

After that it's shelving and tidy up and the shed will be in full swing  :thumb:

Then I can finally concentrate on the Kat... can't wait!!!

Hmmmm sometimes... last night no energy at all even though I *really* wanted to get started on cutting the mounting posts for the tail light lense...

And nah don't know her... glad to see she's wearing gloves though  :o

Oh, and cbr. . .
Word on the street is; my neighbor's daughter is handy with a wrench. If you need your vavles lapped let me know and I'll send her over.

Hahahahaha I'm detecting a common theme here EJ... going for equality in the workplace and women's rights? They're just as good at stunting and mechanics as their male equivalents?

And do it CBR! You know you want to...

Today I have to get this damn compressor room door on, got it started yesterday and must finish it today. Soon as it's done the shed can go into action even without shelving sorted  :thumb:

That square headlight bike is a Katana, right? That vintage has a cult following.
