Looking great, I have about 2 hours left to put mine together. It is not nearly as nice but I do not know how to do half the stuff you have done so far.

That tire is sexy

Are you considering mounting the rear brake underneath the swingarm. Been considering that . Would be interested to see your approach.
The Conti's are very good road tyres. Didn't like em much for the track, but VERY good on the road, except in the very wet. Then the PR4's eat em for breakfast.
On a side note. What's the MTB on the wall. It looks like it has very old model Manitou froks , so a guess is a medium high end bike for the time.

No I'm going for standard placement on the brake calliper, keep things simple!! The mountain bike is my trusty old rock hopper! Needs some love though!

So today I started work on the under tray, it's cut from 2.5mm aluminium that will be powder coated. I also had some tabs laser cut to weld onto the sub frame for fixing the tray too.

So my lovely lady caught me off guard when she said she was looking forward to getting on the back of it for some road trips... oh.

I hadn't considered a passenger getting on board, so I had been scratching my head about how to do passenger footpegs without ruining the subframe, until one day last week i got overtaken in traffic by a Honda cb 650f which had the perfect solution, bolt on arms for a tubular chassis.

A quick blast on eBay and a few days later they're here, and look pretty good! Just need to fab up some mounts then I can put them on when needed!

That's wonderful!!! I love when I get an idea for something just from looking at other bikes.

And no shame in a project taking longer than originally anticipated... I've been working on my car fix/restoration for almost 3 years now. If things are done right, they take time, patience, and attention to detail :thumb: That's the only way to do stuff!

Looking absolutely great moto :star: :star: :star:

Alternate route. Get her her own bike?

Brat sidecar! I don't even know what that means, but you could invent a whole new genre!

Can i ask where the battery is going? I imagined it was going under a fiberglass cowl at the rear of the seat but i guess not? It would be a real shame to have the battery on display for all to see and take away from the clean look of your machine.

No matter what i do to it, it's still a GS
It's not how fast your bike is, it's how long you are prepared to hold the throttle on.

Endopotential

Your bike looks amazing!

It's exactly what I had initially dreamed for my project, before it drifted in other directions.  Really love that tail hoop.
