Hmmmm charcoal cartridges? Not sure on those... the ones I use are organic vapour, A1 6051 is the number I believe. The charcoal filter I referred to is at the exit of my recirculation box. I got the filters from eBay very cheaply, designed for acquarium usage I think? They're just a rectangular shaped piece of activated charcoal filter.

I hear ya' on the weather Yama! Rained on and off all day today, only just got a chance to get the primer done (again) on the front cowl real late this afternoon when it finally cleared.

Hopefully a final rub back tomorrow will show all is good for colour, and hopefully the weather is as good as predicted.

Cool, thought that may have been the case  ;) :thumb:

Haha clever kitty!!! Can never be too many cat pics... nor too many Kat pics...

This is my favourite colour schemed stock Kat... but very very limited edition from 1987. I think I have found a seller interstate here in Aus who can do those sorts of tank decals for me which would be awesome. Silver outline of the Suzuki only, not solid letters so the tank colour will be in the centre.

The primer, black, and clear are PPG's Autothane brand (their economical brand), but the silver is PPG Deltron as that's the only series that has the proper Suzuki 13L Bright Silver Metallic formula.

I've been assured it's common to mix them up like that and I should have no compatibility issues  :thumb:

Getting keyed up to get it finished up today... trying not to get too antsy about it so I don't stuff it up though!

Yeah! Engine room! Shaft alley! The poop deck too!

Back in my Soldier of Fortune and First Person Shooter days I had a cheat that let you walk thru walls.
Had more fun with that than I did with the actual game. It was fascinating the stuff you could find that was not actually part of the normal game-play.  :thumb:
Just saying.

FPS games... my fav will always be Wolf 3D... I have a '97 Packard Bell desktop PC which only has MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 on it. I love to sit there and play Wolf, Spear of Destiny, Blood, Duke Nukem, Blake Stone, original SimCity, Skyroads, King's Quest.....

PETE I love that color scheme!!! I can see why it's your favorite :thumb:
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

peteGS

Haha yes indeed Showbiz!! Not quite the same scheme I'm doing myself, but mine is definitely inspired by it  :thumb:

And speaking of paint schemes...

Nice work peteGS!

BTW, I'm thinking Yama's video card finally overloaded. :technical:

Hahahaha yeah could be!!

Funny but true story... our building at work got evacuated about a month ago... someone's PC a few floors up did indeed start smoking  :icon_eek:

Tried to get some sunny shots today, but of course the weather continues to be inconvenient just like the rest of my time off work and it was quite cloudy... also got the satin black done on some various other bits and pieces and the inside of the cowl and tail piece  :thumb:

All the bodywork most definitely needs a rub back to get rid of overspray after clogging the recirculation box's inlet filter and to get rid of some orange peel, then a good cut and polish.

as far as inside of vessell, one floor up from helicopter there is capts quarters. can enter that. then one down from helo is living quarters. and staterooms. ne in middle is lounge and bar . i wish i could get insie lower deck. i know you can when buying drugs in game because you have tio storm and clear a yacht, a tad smaller than this one. so it IS in the game.
and pete, loving hte work thusfar.

Cheers! Pretty happy with it except I made it look like crap today after wet sanding it ready for a cut and polish.

And I need a touch up on the front mudguard tomorrow, found a mark on it today where I've obviously brushed up against it when the silver was wet... rubbed it back and ended up through the clear and then the silver in a couple of spots  :technical:
