did you used to ride up sawtelle weekday afternoons? I used to head down sawtelle to pick up my son from preshool and would always see a gs500 going the other way. was usually around 4:45pm and usually around National or Palms.

My name's Tony and i just got my gs500 yesterday 4-25-06. 1 '92 with 35,000 miles on it which i got for 500 bucks from a barfer. I've heard of this place before so i decided to check it out since it has so much info here, and i figured i should introduce myself. I'll probably be lurking here absorbing the info and you wont see me post as much (unlike barf). Glad to see so many Gs500 owners out there.   O0

I go by Circle's Center. (IRL only with my gamer friends... lol) I live in Nevada.

Nahh, I'm 20 years old, M and of course I have a beautiful example of a 1990 GS500e. Red, white and black... Fell in love when the guy with the broken leg pulled off the cover.  :icon_lol:

I bought it a few days ago and it is my first bike. I think it is really fast, I'm sure the more jaded people will be like  But hey, it's my first so :flipoff:

Here's me on my bike. Don't complain about the lack of helmet, this was a vanity shot.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Newbie here.  Just purchased a yellow  04.  I am from the island of Trinidad now living in the Valley Forge  PA area. I am east indian decending from laborers brought to work in the sugar plantations in the caribbean.

Always loved motorcycles but was scared  of it. The bug bit me again when  I recently came back from Iraq  :2guns: and decided to stop dreaming and start riding. It's amazing how being over there make you cherish the simple pleasures in life.

I am 38 male...I know a little to old to start riding.  But it's' something I have to do before the big "A" kicks in .  Thanks for this great site and hope to meet some riders from the area.

cookingfoodude

i am an old aft guy who just bought a gs500f new.  i like it except for the handlebars need to be raised and pulled back a little.  i commute about 45 miles a day and get 55 +/- mpg.  i live in the sf bay area with my wife and 2 kids.  the new headlight setup is nice and bright for my 1 am drive home after work.
