Macker

Hey There Folks: I'm Mack from Mississippi.  I'm 55.  I just got a 1999 GS500E. Never owned a bike before but it is really fun.  So far no spills, and all my learings have been without incident.  I am quite cautious but expect that sooner or later I will get a lesson the hard way.  Hope to make some friends, because a bike is much more fun to ride if you have friends riding along.

Welcome!

Take the Motorcyle Safety Foundation course.  Hopefully there is one near you.  It's the best thing I ever did, and I used to race!  It'll be the best thing you'll ever do, too!  :thumb:

Pebs

I'm Photina. and I'm in Fall River, MA right now. I just started riding sportbikes. I'm taking the MSF course at the end of June. Until then my zuki isn't going to be doing much more then sitting there. Until that time I get to play around in parking lots and such. I can;t wait. And neither can my husband and our friend Melby. They got me into sport riding. Just thought I'd say hello!  :icon_mrgreen:

I'm Jackie.  I've been a member since May.  I live in NJ, 37 years old, Filipino and married for 4 years.  I've always been a passenger and for years, I wanted to be the driver.  My husband bought his motorcycle right after we got married.  But he's had experience with motorcycles, quads & dirtbikes growing up.   The more I rode with him, the more I wanted to get my own sportbike.  My sister in law wanted to do enduro but was told she had to take the course - so I took it with her.  We did the course in March and my husband bought me my first sportbike 05 GS500F (blue & white) in April right after Easter.  I have pictures posted in Member Bikes & Members Mugs.  I've ride every opp I can get since I took it home...after work and every weekend (weather permitting).  I LOVE IT!!!

40 year old, just retired from Army, been busy the last decade and now I finally have the time.  Was a helicopter mechanic and love to tinker on things.  We tried JP4 in a moped one time, lol, burnt the rings up.  Now just hanging in Sin City.   :cookoo:   P.S.:   motorcycles in the middle east suck; gave me 70's flashbacks.
